2024年8月24日 · When I access BBC iPlayer on either my HDR recorder or my Blu-ray player, there is a banner informing that iPlayer will no longer be available 'on this device' from 30th October 2024. I much prefer to watch iPlayer material on either of those devices, because I can feed the audio signal through my amplifier and then to my headphones.

2025年1月29日 · When I try to sign in to the BBC iplayer app on my Sky Q box it will not generate a code or QR code for the iplayer sign-in site. It just sits with a spinning circle. I have tried the following with no success: Reset by holding power button. Reset by disconnecting power. All 3 resets in the hidden settings menu. App refresh from the hidden menu

2024年2月6日 · Had a 'We notice you've been using iPlayer' email from TV Licensing. I don't have a TV License as the majority of what I watch is on Netflix/Prime/Now/etc. TV isn't even connected to an aerial and I don't use iPlayer, but according to the email their 'records show [I've] used BBC iPlayer on a number of occasions over recent weeks.' and that I need to buy a license.

2024年12月17日 · The BBC catch up is still available on Sky and I prefer to use it rather than the BBC iPlayer, just due to fast-forward and rewind is so clunky on iPlayer whereas on the catch-up it's just like a regular recording and you can navigate it with ease.

2019年12月22日 · If a person having a cup of tea or coffee (or something much stronger!) in a café or hotel in the UK wishes to access the BBC iPlayer on his or her own laptop, iPad or iPhone and the café/hotel has a TV licence, is that access covered by the café/hotel's TV licence>

2020年7月4日 · The reality is that the BBC have always had adverts whether it be on TV or iplayer. We just don't realise it because they only advertise their own products, i.e. choice of platforms, radio, services. or products The fact that it's not for a car, washing powder or bank, doesn't make it any less an advert. So your observation comes as no surprise.

2023年8月9日 · The kids one is a good idea. When the BBC proposed closing CBBC but no CBeebies many commented that it was because the CBBC demographic could easily navigate iPlayer where as the CBeebies pre-schoolers wouldn't.

2025年1月15日 · With regards to BBC, I want to 'stream' Traitors and have it on demand so I can catch up on episodes when it suits me but I can't as 1. I can't record it and 2. There's no BBC iplayer in ROI. With other apps like channel 4 this is not a problem as we can access the channel 4 app to watch episodes on demand.

2025年1月12日 · Earlier today, I tried to watch BBC 1 on BBC iPlayer. It asked me whether i have a tv licence. I just bought SKY Essential TV, so does that count or is it whole different thing? Just for additional information, I tried to watch the FA cup on Sky Go but I can't seem to find it, that's why I'm trying to use BBC iPlayer.

2016年12月17日 · However, if you’re away from home and plug one of these devices into the mains and use it to watch or record live TV programmes on any channel or device, or to download or watch BBC programmes on iPlayer, you need to be covered by a separate TV Licence at that address (unless you’re in a vehicle or vessel like a train, car or boat).
