2012年7月11日 · I was speaking to a few guys form VW Martingrove and they said 6 months seems to be the new standard. VW of Canada is taking a closer look at all cases given the number of claims that have been submitted. Unfortunately for VW, they built diesel engines that will outlast the warranty period, unlike their gas engine counterparts.

Any car that was on the road in Canada for 10 years would be rusty. I just brought a Passat in to Canada from Texas and had to pay 6.1% duty, 14% tax and $100.00 air conditioning tax.

2008年6月24日 · Hopefully someone can provide me with some help... I am looking to purchase a TDI in canada, its a 2001.5 Jetta, and bring it back across the Lewiston Bridge into Buffalo, NY, USA. When I spoke to the customs agent at the border, he stated that I would need to obtain a letter from VW that states the car meets all EPA requirements in the USA.

I am contemplating selling back my JSW TDI to VW and getting a new GSW. I noticed that in Canada the price of a new basic JSW is 22950 canadian dollars, that makes it only around $18000 in US dollars.

2011年11月11日 · 2011 jetta's in canada have them standard. I think its a federally mandated feature. there is no reset button in the glove box because it is a indirect monitor, as in it uses the abs sensor to compare wheel spin, doesn't check tire pressure, ergo no need to ever reset it.

PetroCanada doesn't make it, Canadian Tire doesn't sell it and Castrol sells only to of their service stations selling diesel fuel tell me...

2009年5月4日 · Mine threw the code 3 weeks ago, Canadian local VW dealership said it's not covered by warranty. Tried to fix it myself with some liquid wrench from the outside with no success. Got a letter in the mail today from VW Canada saying the emissions warranty is extended for the Engine Exhaust Flap to 193,000km or 10 years.
