James Michael Jeffcoat (born August 3, 1959) is an American retired professional baseball manager, former head coach in college baseball, and former professional player. He pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 1983 and 1994 for four different teams.

A 6-time Gulf South Conference Coach of the Year honoree, Mike Jeffcoat has led the Argonauts to be one of the premier NCAA Division II programs in the nation since being promoted from pitching coach to head coach on August 8, 2005.

Mike Jeffcoat began his tenure as head baseball coach in 2002. The 10-year Major League veteran has led Texas Wesleyan to twelve 30-win seasons during his 16-year tenure. He is the program's all-time leader in coaching wins with an overall record of 529-358-1 (.596).
