Mesosiderite - Wikipedia
Mesosiderites are a class of stony–iron meteorites consisting of about equal parts of metallic nickel-iron and silicate. They are breccias with an irregular texture; silicates and metal occur often in lumps or pebbles as well as in fine-grained intergrowths.

Mesosiderite: A small individual of the mesosiderite known as Northwest Africa (NWA) 2932. This specimen was found in the Sahara Desert and has been cut and polished to reveal its makeup of iron and silicates. The shiny metallic matrix is peppered with darker silicate inclusions.

Mesosiderites are stony-iron meteorites that are impact mixtures (breccias) composed of silicate minerals from a differentiated meteorite like a eucrite and FeNi metal from an iron meteorite. Most are the products of violent collisions between stony and iron asteroids. Mesosiderites are rare, only about 0.6% of all known meteorites.
