You have been collecting your weather data with a data logger and storing it on your computer using WeatherLink Computer Software. Now you have added a WeatherLink Live to your system. You can add your historical data to your WeatherLink Live’s data on the WeatherLink cloud, using the “import” feature.

If you installed WeatherLink on your old PC using the default setup, and you want the same installation on your new PC, weather data can be transferred easily and simply: Move The Weather Data Files: • Copy the entire WeatherLink folder (with the name “WeatherLink”) from the C: drive on the old PC

Insert the USB - Mini B connector into the USB connector of the USB data logger. The connection between the console and the computer can be extended up to 16' (5 m) total length using a USB-to-USB connector cable.

From your weatherlink software, simply click on Setup > Communications Port, Select TCP/IP, then “ Web Download ”, type in the Device ID (001D0A*****) of your station and your password for weatherlink.com.

Follow the steps below to install the WeatherLink software. 1. Place the WeatherLink software CD in your CD ROM drive. The install program should start automatically. If the install program does not start, select Run from the Start menu, type D:\SETUP (or the correct letter for your CD ROM drive), and click OK to begin the installation.

Install WeatherLink: • Place your WeatherLink software disc into the new PC’s CD drive to install the icons on the Start Menu and desktop. • For USB versions, be sure to have USB drivers checked when installing. This is an absolute requirement to use the USB connection.
