Instead of throwing the Pikmin, for example, Olimar could hold a green Pikmin by its tail, and then Whip it towards enemies or objects, and then the green Pikmin flower stalk will grow and extend like a Vine Whip.

Most art I’ve seen speculating black pikmin has featured big green eyes. Kind of like an inverted white pikmin. And like they said it could go out at night. People were speculating the black, green-eyed pikmin was back in the huge gulf of time in between P2 & P3. I don’t know if it would really work gameplay-wise though.
