Please note that it is an approximately one-mile walk from the south campus parking lots to Carver Gym if you do not take the shuttle. Please see the Commencement Parking Map . There will be three (3) shuttle buses running a loop between the two stops (upper C lot and Carver Gym) between 8:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

To participate in Spring Commencement, current semester graduates must apply to graduate, fall 22 and summer 23 graduates must apply to “walk”. For the Dec. 16 and 17 Grad Walk, timeslots are available from 1-6 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis. Students must reserve their special Grad Walk experience timeslot by calling 301-784-5005 or emailing info@allegany.edu by Dec. 14.

When do I "walk" to get my diploma? At Degree Celebrations, all bachelors and masters students graduating in Winter or Summer 2024 are allowed to walk. Please see the Degree Celebrations page for the complete schedule. During the Commencement ceremony, Doctoral graduates will be individually recognized and photographed on stage.

BF Kitchen Elementary is pleased to CELEBRATE the Graduating class of 2024! We invite ALL TSD graduates to join us at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 23rd for a Senior Walk followed by refreshments and pictures. Graduates can gather on the front lawn and at 9:30 they will parade through the halls and greet students and teachers.

2024年11月19日 · Grad Walk is a unique and intimate in-person commencement experience where UMGC graduates are center stage and receive individual recognition—while their guests enjoy a front-row view! After meeting up with your guests, your name will be called as you walk across UMGC’s commencement stage in regalia, take photos, and meet university leaders.

The Graduate Walk is intended for only students. We ask parents, families, and supporters to make their way to The Robins Center for the main commencement ceremony; doors open at the Robins Center at 12:00 p.m. and the ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 p.m.. The Graduate Walk finishes at the Weinstein Center for Recreation (next to The Robins Center) where students check in for commencement.

Non-graduating last semester students (undergraduate and graduate) are permitted to walk in the May 17, 2025 Commencement ceremonies provided they meet certain requirements at the time of the ceremony; that is, such students are cleared for walking in the same manner that graduating seniors are cleared.
