2023年9月29日 · Adrian Newey’s design genius has defined modern Formula 1. And it continues to do so as, 31 years after his first success, Red Bull have secured the 12th constructors’ championship for one of his cars.

Installed at McLaren as the team’s technical director, Newey hit the ground running in his new role, turning Mika Hakkinen into a world champion with the first car penned with his, er, pencil.

2015年1月5日 · Adrian Newey designed the Williams car that won Nigel Mansell his first championship. For a while he and the team’s technical director lived under the threat of being convicted of manslaughter, but both were acquitted of the charge.

After designing championship-winning Formula One cars for Williams and McLaren, Newey moved to Red Bull Racing in 2006, his cars winning the Formula One drivers' and constructors' championships consecutively from 2010 to 2013, the drivers' championship in 2021, and both championships in 2022 and 2023.
