I've been reading that the best Gamma options are between 1.8 and 2.2 for computer monitors but I couldn't raise the Gamma in the nvidia control panel that high because the entire monitor would appear insanely washed out and no other combo of settings could get rid of that effect.

2019年6月28日 · Make sure to set refresh rate to 144hz in windows settings (or 120hz which I prefer for no judder in 30fps video) Turn freesync ON. 2019年12月7日 · The best calibration settings I've found are actually buried deep in a review on Rtings.com. If you want the most accurate color, and the most accurate white point then set the monitor to "Racing mode" and then make a few minor adjustments.

There's basically 0 visual impact from what you're playing, at anything below 100%. Fortnite for example is almost always set in bright day environments, and this monitor can't display that well, but playing something like resident evil 4, the perceived contrast is very nice. But as a competivly geared monitor, the sdr should be brighter.

Depending on which movies or games to run. See and test what is fit well best. Also important that " Local Dimming " to High or Auto.
