On January 1, 2022, Dr. Small was appointed to a 4.5-year term as the first African-American female Superintendent of Atlantic City Public Schools and the first Atlantic City resident to serve as superintendent.

Until further notice, the Atlantic City Board of Education will hold its committee and regular meetings at the CitiCenter Building, 1300 Atlantic Ave-6th Floor Boardroom, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

Applicants applying for employment under this program must apply for their certification with the State of NJ and submit an application for employment with our school district. Applications for employment with the Atlantic City Public Schools are only accepted online.

High school students living outside of Atlantic City must be registered in the school district in which they reside. Parents must complete the Pre-registration online application and schedule an appointment
