Yeah, the pull tab would certainly be a nice feature - I usually carry 3 cards in the Apple wallet and keep my debit card in back with the numbers facing outward, so I can use the raised numbers to get a grip on removing the back card.

After about 5-6 times, it kind of clicked that my MagSafe wallet was causing it and I immediately stopped putting them in there. At least the wallet ended up paying for itself at that point.

I have seen many apple branded accessories fail when third party vendor's same accessory lasted for years. Cables are just one example. Wallet/"leather" cases are another.
