The N.C. State Fair is a place where thrill-seekers and foodies can enjoy exciting rides and tasty treats; however, it is also a time to celebrate local agriculture and the hardworking folks who make it our state’s leading industry.

A new position at the N.C. State Fair looks to see that jobs being done to maintain the fairgrounds and get ready for these events are done safely. Michael Amberg started work earlier this year as the N.C. State Fair’s first safety officer.

2019年10月16日 · The Amish fudge is located in the MarketPlace near the N.C. State Fair Ice Cream booth. Wanda describes her fudge as smooth and creamy. This year she is featuring two new varieties, blueberry cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake, along with their classic flavors.

One of my favorite things to do at the N.C. State Fair is peruse the products for sample and sale from the wide variety of vendors exhibiting around the fairgrounds. I also enjoy comparing the food concessionaire menus to find that perfect tasty treat.

Every year at the State Fair, there are hundreds of different competitions to enter. Each category of competitions is managed by its own superintendent. This year, the Flower and Garden Show has a new superintendent in charge and his name is Daniel Danford.
