2009年12月4日 · The presented LTCC based I-shape serpentine micromixer can work as a stand-alone device or as a part of more complex microfluidic system. For verification of model predictions a system of complex test reactions was used showing that energetic efficiency of the serpentine micromixer is comparable to efficiencies of classical mixers.

The purpose of this research is to determine the affects of two entering fluids mixing in the serpentine mixer at different conditions. Three cases were considered: 1) varying Reynold number 2) varying Peclet number and 3) changing mixer length. By using a serpentine mixer model, one can estimate the mixing effect depending on its condition.
