Jaguar made quality cars and if maintained properly will go a long way. Didn't see the "serviced timing chain/belt" which gets done @ 60K mi., if it fail severe engine damage is almost certain. Get a re-manufactured crank installed if its broken, don't be afraid of used jag parts.

I have a 1990 Jaguar XJ^ Vandenplas. I've had problems with starting the car, need to change the battery. The last time I was able to start the car the transmission light came on, the one that says the motor is in "limp home' mode.

2020年6月4日 · The idea when I fitted them was that the DB7 was built on the XJ-S, which was built on the short wheelbase S1 XJ. You learn something every day!! I didn’t know that… And I was actually amazed to discover that the DB7 used the exact same Jaguar Front and IRS up until 2001…! Sure Jaguar was ahead of it’s time.
