值得关注的是，八马茶业还频频涉嫌虚假宣传。据招股书披露，2018年至2021年，公司涉投诉、举报113起，其中虚假宣传63起，质量问题23起。如2023年9月，博鳌亚洲论坛在官微发布声明，斥责八马茶业存在虚假宣传、伪造授权书的情况。最终，八马茶业向博鳌亚洲论坛郑重道歉，并进行赔偿。
