A 'chadar' on behalf of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was offered at the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on Sunday during the ongoing 'Urs' of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh will present a ceremonial 'chadar' at Ajmer Sharif Dargah, marking the 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The offering will be delivered by Munavvar Khan.

The Chadar Trek is a 7-9 day expedition stretching from Chilling to Padum in Ladakh. However, last year, the route was shortened due to road construction by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
