NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Police have taken into custody a man accused of fatally shooting a person on a Nashville interstate. A tip led to the arrest after dashcam video released Tuesday showed the van involved in the crime.

A student opened fire inside Antioch High School, shooting two other students and then himself, the authorities said. A female student and the shooter were killed, officials said.

There has been, understandably, a decline in attendance above normal rates as we have been focused on providing guidance and mental health-related activities in lieu of traditional academic instruction.

One student was killed and another wounded in a shooting at Antioch High School in Nashville on Wednesday morning. The shooter, identified by police as 17-year-old Solomon Henderson, died by suicide at the scene, authorities said. Henderson was a student at Antioch.

After releasing a statement of support, the Nashville Predators honored the Antioch High School community on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Metro Police Department opted to permanently add a third school resource officer to Antioch High School as students return Tuesday.

School threats are on the rise after a Jan. 22 shooting left two dead, including the shooter, and one injured at Antioch High School. It's been a little more than a week since 16-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante was killed and a 17-year-old classmate was injured after another 17-year-old boy opened fire and later shot himself in the school cafeteria,
