Michigan Football associate head coach Biff Poggi will help Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines on the recruiting trail, and bring unity to the coaching staff

Poggi, 65, previously served in Ann Arbor as an analyst in 2016 then, after a stint leading the Panthers, was hired back as associate head coach in 2021 and 2022. Poggi was said to have played a major role in restoring balance to the program after a pandemic-stricken, 2-4 record in 2020.

On Nov. 23, 2024, the Michigan fan base was ecstatic with all of the possibilities when Sherrone Moore hosted Poggi for the Northwestern game, just weeks after Poggi lost his job as the nearly two-year head coach of Charlotte. Many surmised that Poggi could return to Ann Arbor, and it appears that's the case.
