My husband may not be able to walk up all steps from ferry. What is an alternative please.

Definitely agree with earlier responses-ferry is not an option as there are no alternate options to walking steep steps. The steps are also not under cover so you are exposed to weather …
Definitely agree with earlier responses-ferry is not an option as there are no alternate options to walking steep steps. The steps are also not under cover so you are exposed to weather elements hot or wet and windy. Internally at the museum it is well catered for all to get around.
When we visited I recall wheelchairs being available but very limited and cannot be reserved. Hope this helps, perhaps a call beforehand to see which are the busy times. Car parking …

Car parking is limited and a long walk. Perhaps drop off first then park for someone needing that type of access. Hope this helps.
The museum is open Wednesday–Monday, 10am–6pm. closed most Tuesdays and Christmas Day. \ Summer opening hours are 10am–6pm from 1 December 2018—28 April 2019.
